My approach to photography is not about capturing the “perfect” moment or searching for symbolic meaning. I am interested in presence — in the quiet way light reveals what wishes to be seen. The image happens when looking becomes attentive, unforced, and open.
After many years working within visual mediums, I no longer think in terms of a “good” or “bad” photograph. There are images made with intention and images made by instinct; both carry their own sensory impression of a brief moment of awareness.
What remains is the practice of noticing — a way of being in steady, open relation to the world.
