There are countless steps to making a film — each one its own small story. I have been part of this craft since 1995, working across departments, sets, and environments, learning the work from within.

My path into directing began through doing — through the physical and collaborative realities of filmmaking: production design, pre-production, assistant direction, visual concept development, and the quiet problem-solving that happens behind the scenes.

Cinema is uncertain, layered, and deeply human.
It is also play, attention to detail, and the unexpected alignment of many perspectives for a brief moment.

I continue to learn.
